The Navratri festival is here and people all across India have geared up for the celebrations. The nine-day festival, commemorating the triumph of good over evil begins on September 21 and ends on September 29, followed by Dussehra on September 30.
Navratri is celebrated all over the country albeit in different ways. However one of the most common ways of celebrating the festival, predominantly in the western states of Gujarat and Maharashtra, is in the form of Garba and dandiya.
Garba enthusiasts across the country are swinging to traditional dandiya tunes as well as Bollywood dance numbers. As the Navratri fever already stars we bring you a list of singers and their approximate fee.
Falguni Pathak considered as one of the most demandable Indian female singers. She has also recorded numerous songs for Bollywood movies. The theme of most of her songs is love. In August 2013, it was reported that she would allegedly make Rs 2 crore during the year’s Navratri festivities. In 2014 she got paid Rs. 1.5 crore. Falguni fee of Rs 1.10 crore for last year and this time is equal.
2. Preeti & Pinky
Indipop duo Preeti-Pinky has been performing continuously for 18 years in Borivli now. They are always focused on folk and tribal singing. Their shows are booked months in advance. This year the singer sisters performing in Kutchi Grounds, Off Link Road, Borivali (West). Last year, the fee was Rs 50-60 lakh but this year the amount they are taking, it is not confirmed.
