Bio:

Archana Puran Singh is a senior actress and a comedy show judge. She primarily appears in comic roles and has been judging the popular show ‘Comedy Circus’ since 2006. Archana caught eyes after she endorsed Band-aid in an ad and was roped in for Jalal Agha’s serial ‘Mr and Mrs’. Her first movie stint was Nari Hira’s TV movie ‘Abhishek’. However, she rose to fame with the 1987 film ‘Jalwa’ wherein she starred opposite Naseeruddin Shah. She has been a part of big banner films like ‘Shola Aur Shabnam’, ‘Agneepath’,  and ‘Raja Hindustani’. Archana has mostly limited herself to appearing in funny, side roles. She’s widely remembered for playing Ms Braganza in ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’.
