Bio:

Born and brought up in Howrah, Calcutta, Bidita Bag started off with modeling during her college days and came into the limelight after working for designers like Sabyasachi Mukherjee and Kiran Uttam Ghosh. She shifted her base to Mumbai and finally got the chance to act in a Bengali film called Icche. The actress also went on to do Bollywood films like As The River Flows and From Sydney with Love. For the movie Babumoshai Bandookbaaz, Chitrangada had been signed up initially but she quit abruptly. Bidita stepped into her shoes and the sex scenes in the film became the talk of the town after the trailer and song launch.
