This period drama is based on the 21-month long period from 1975 to 1977, when Prime Minister Indira Gandhi had unilaterally declared a state of emergency across the country. The film features Kirti Kulhari, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Anupam Kher in pivotal roles. While Supriya Vinod will be seen essaying the role of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, Neil Nitin Mukesh will be seen playing Sanjay Gandhi in the movie. Directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, the film is slated to release on July 28, 2017.
