5 Bollywood Remakes From The Old Classics That Were Miserably Worst Of All Time!

Nowadays, remaking a certain film has become very much common. Bollywood has taken inspirations from Hollywood as well Tollywood movies in the past. In fact, some movies are also based on novels, and most of them were terrible fails! If this wasn’t enough, then there are some film makers who remade some of the classic old films from Bollywood itself. But to their disappointment, the movies didn’t work well, neither could they match up to the levels of the originals.
Below are few such Bollywood movies that were remade from the old well known classics:

1) Himmatwala

The Bollywood icons, Jeetendra and Sridevi starred in the movie Himmatwala in the year 1983. It was one of the most memorable movies of the 80’s. In the year 2013, the movie was remade using the same title. Ajay Devgn and Tamnnaah Bhatia performed miserably bad in the movie. And the Sajid Khan movie was a total flop.

2) Sholay

The most memorable movie of 1975, Sholay was remade in the year 2007. The movie was titled as ‘Aag,’ though it was a major rip off. The film starred Amitabh Bachchan, Mohanlal, Ajay Devgn, Prashant Raj Sachdev, Sushmita Sen, J. D. Chakravarthy, and Suchitra Krishnamoorthi.
