R. Madhwan is a talented actor who always pushed his boundaries to do exceptional roles in movies. He auditioned for the Maniratnam’s movie Iruwar.

Mani Ratnam rejected him saying his eyes are too innocent to play the character and the role went to Prakash Raj.

But Maniratnam promised him to give him a role in another movie and made a romantic film with him.
