The early life

Paul was born on 5 March 1969 in Shropshire, England. He spent his early childhood on British Military bases in both England and Germany. Although he is a very renowned English actor in the film industry, Paul began his career by doing television commercials in England. His Grim Reaper commercial for Virgin Atlantic was a huge success. And after that, numerous radio commercials were on the list for job offering.

After his first successful film, he appeared in many American films and television shows. He performed guest appearances in the American series ER , 24 and has been a regular cast member in the series The Dresden Files (2007) and Lipstick Jungle (2008–09).
These days Paul is playing a lead role as Detective Quentin Lance in the famous American action-crime television series – Arrow.
