Grahan is an Indian web series directed by Ranjan Chandel. The series stars Pawan Malhotra, Zoya Hussain, Wamiqa Gabbi and Anshuman Pushkar in the lead roles. The series has made under the banner of JAR Pictures and produced by Ajay G Rai. The story is based on the Satya Vyas’s popular novel ‘Chaurasi’. The series traverses two tales set apart by three decades but connected by one.
Grahan Story Review/Synopsis:
32 years after the hotbed of the Sikh Riots, Bokaro, saw the community cut to pieces, an SIT team of top cops is sent from Ranchi to investigate the massacre and nab the culprits still at large a decision motivated by the state CM’s suspicions over his opposition number. In 1984 Bokaro, desperate for his late father’s job, Rishi meets union leader Chunnu. In 2016 Ranchi, City SP Amrita Singh is caught in red tape trying to solve a reporter’s murder.
