Samantar Season 2 is an MX Player web series. This web series is to be released on 1 July 2021. In this web series Swapnil Joshi, Tejaswini Pandit, Nitish Bharadwaj, Ganesh Revdekar played the lead roles. It is a sequel of Samantar season one, which is based on the book of the same name.
Samantar Season 2 web series Story
Samantar is a story about a young guy named Kumar Mahajan who is living a life with full of problems and his life transforms as he goes on a mission to locate Sudarshan Chakrapani, a man who shares his fate. According to some recent events, Kumar is experiencing the same life that Chakrapani has previously lived. Will Kumar be able to influence his future for good or govern his present after meeting Chakrapani?
In this season, A mysterious woman has been seen in Kumar Mahajan’s (played by actor Swwapnil Joshi) life in Samantar. We are about to witness, the talented trio – Joshi, Tejaswini Pandit and Sai Tamhankar, who created Marathi romantic drama Tu Hi Re – will reunite once again on screen for the second installment of web series Samantar .

Kumar goes over to Meera’s house although he knows that this is the wrong thing to do. He is getting married to Nima, but all he can think about is Meera. He is unable to put her out of his mind and thus knowingly treads on the defined destiny for him.
Episode 4 – Elusional
Destiny begins to play its games when Meera sends Kumar the photographs. Just like Chakrapani had met with Sundara, now Kumar is meeting with Meera. But in his heart he knows, the further he will stay on this path, the closer he will be to losing everything. What will he choose?
Episode 5 – A Balance Lost
In Spite of all the warnings he had received and everything he knew would happen, Kumar falls in love with Meera. Romance sprouted in his life like it had in Chakrapani’s life. But what would be the end of their love story, would it be similar to that of Chakrapani? Is it the beginning of the end for him?
Episode 6 – Work, Wife, Friendship Losing Everything
Kumar gets arrested in Meera’s husband’s murder and he goes to jial. In one shot he loses everything – his career, his wife and his friends. All that is left is Meera and the diary. But what is going to happen next after this turn of unfortunate events? What is going to happen to him?
Episode 7 – I Will Write My Own Destiny
Kumar no longer wants to be controlled by some destiny or some diary. He meets with Chakrapani and returns the diary to him, saying that he will create his own destiny from now on. However, Chakrapani gives him back one page from the diary saying that one day he will need it. What is written on the page? Will Kumar really be able to defy his destiny?

A lady hires Kumar’s cab and they both get involved in conversation. Kumar realizes that her stories are similar to those in the diary and that she might be Chakrapani’s wife. He thinks of proving this time that his life is not controlled by some outer force and he has everything in his hands. How is he going to prove it?
Episode 10 – The Last Parallel Journey
After trying hard to change what his destiny had in store for him, Kumar finally gives up the hope. He seems to have no other option left but to approach Chakrapani once again. What will happen now? Will Chakrapani be able to help Kumar or not?

The plot of the Samantar web series is about a man named ‘Kumar Mahajan’ played by ‘Swapnil Joshi’. Kumar is portrayed as a skeptic, who doesn’t trust in the existence of god or in any heavenly being.
