Anu Malik, born as Anwar Sardaar Malik, is one of the leading music composers of Bollywood today and the eldest son of prominent music composer and lyricist, Sardar Malik, a Punjabi seer form Kapurthala. He started his career with Mohan Choti’s film ‘Hunterwali’, but got recognition only from the movie “Phir Teri Yaad Aayee” in 1992. Anu has worked with all A-list playback singers in Bollywood such as Mohammed Rafi, Asha Bhosle, Sunidhi Chauhan, Sonu nigam, Alka Yagnik, shreya ghoshal and many others. Anu is married to Anju and the couple has been blessed with two daughters named Anmol and Ada.
