Sanjay Dutt’s mother Nargis Dutt last message from her deathbed changed his life

A few days back Sanju got released and everyone came to know about the controversial and tough life of Sanjay Dutt above all the facts and sayings in the past by the media. Rajkumar Hirani has shown the darker side of Sanjay’s life when he lost his mother Nargis Dutt just three days before the debut of his film Rocky, his addiction to drugs and all the allegations of being a terrorist and involvement in 1993’s Mumbai bomb blasts. Hirani showed it all to the audience including Sanjay’s relationships and the bond he shared with his father Sunil Dutt.

Sanjay Dut’s mother Nargis Dutt died of pancreatic cancer in 1981. When Nargis was in the hospital of New York she used to record messages for Sanjay. Recently, an old video went viral on the internet in which Sanjay Dutt can be seen talking about his mother’s death on a talk show and even plays the last message that Nargis had recorded for him from her deathbed. Nargis was really excited about her son’s debut movie but sadly she didn’t fight more with her illness and died. That’s why Sanjay left one seat empty in the theatre when Rocky got released in his mother’s memory.
Sanjay said in the video, “When my mother died I did not cry, I had no emotions.” He further said that after two years a friend of Sanju played the tape and while hearing it he burst out in tears and cried for 4-5 hours. The audio recording of Nargis for Sanju goes like this,” More than anything, Sanju, keep your humility. Keep your character. Never show off. Always be humble and always respect the elders. That is the thing that is going to take you far, and that is going to give you strength in your work“.

#SanjayDutt had not cried when his mother Nargis died and for three long years his wounds were festering when suddenly he got tapes of his mother's dying wish and finally burst out crying. Sanjay was at that at a drugs rehab centre in the US. Father Sunil Dutt sent him some tapes of Nargis talking during her final days so as to help him in his rehab. "When Sanjay got the tapes from Sunil he had no idea what was on them. He pressed play and suddenly the room was filled with Nargis's voice. He remembered his childhood, when his mother's voice would reverberate through the Dutt mansion," 😌 His mother's voice was weak, broken and in immense pain. 💔 But #Nargisdutt still spoke of her dreams for her beloved son, and gave him some gentle advice. #sanjayduttisyhero #sanjubaba

However, in the film, the message was totally different from this and it is also said in the movie that Nargis Dutt’s last message to her son helped him cope up with his drug addiction and helped him came out of it.
