Barfi is the story of a deaf and mute guy named Barfi and his life events. Ranbir Kapoor gets lots of praise for the portrayal of Barfi in the movie.

One scene in particular that sticks to everyone’s mind is the scene when Ranbir went to Ileana’s house with a marriage proposal and knew she was getting married to someone else.

The whole scene was set beautifully without dialogue. The pain in Ranbir’s eyes yet the acceptance that he is not good for the girl is remarkable to watch.
