Bollywood actress Yami Gautam turns 29 this year. The actress who was born on November 28, 1988 is famous for her attractive looks and dramatic performances. The actress just eight films old in Bollywood, but she has definitely made her mark in the industry.

1. Wanted to become an IAS officer

Yami did her regular schooling, and later entered college to pursue a graduate degree in law honours. She had aspired to join Indian Administrative Services (IAS) as a young girl. But the destiny had other plans.
2. Yami is half Pahari and half Punjabi

Yami was born to a Punjabi father and a Pahari mother. She loves all the pahari delicacies; ‘Chamba ka Rajma’ being her favourite.
3. She left studies for acting

At the age of 20, Yami left studies to pursue a career in modeling and acting. Though she was pursuing studies in Law Honors (first-year PU Student of law), she left full-time studies for acting. Reports say that she has done her part-time graduation from Mumbai.
