The Blockbuster film ‘Saajan’ which was emerging as the highest grossing Bollywood film of 1991 and the fifth highest grossing hindi film of the 90s decade was first offered to Aamir Khan. The makers of the Saajan wanted most entertaining onscreen jodi of Salman and Aamir in the film but Aamir Khan did not like the character offered to him. And further role is offered to Sanjay Datt, he loved the role and immediately lapped up the offer. Aamir and Salman, later, were seen together in Andaaz Apna Apna.
