Mahek made her debut with the movie Nayee Padosan in 2003. The movie bombed at the box-office and she continued to act and is remembered for her role in the Salman Khan starrer, Wanted. But now she has made the switch to television. First she was seen on reality television show Bigg Boss 5 (2011) and Bigg Boss Halla Bol (2015). She did act as vampy role on a new show, Kawach.
